Brain Bout added a new game category: Major League Baseball Players (MLB). From Lip Pike to Jayson Werth to Will Ferrell*, this category includes Major League Baseball players throughout history.

As of this post, the MLB Players category contains 2142 questions divided into three levels.

Three Levels

• Start at level 1. Level 1 includes contemporary professional baseball players whose careers span the years 2000 to today. It is the easiest subcategory.
• Level 2 includes players from 1970 to today.
• Level 3 includes all professional baseball players from the earliest days through today. It is the most difficult subcategory.

* Will Ferrell? Yes, that’s right. World-famous big-screen actor Will Ferrell is a professional baseball player in the MLB. On a single day in 2015, comedian Will Ferrell played for ten Major League Baseball teams, covering all nine positions. This charity event, during spring training, raised money for cancer.

Ferrell switched teams and positions with dizzying speed—sometimes being “traded” mid-inning. Once the Arizona Diamondbacks traded Ferrell for two OTT snacks, the Churro Dog and D-Bat Dog!
